Can someone please direct me to medical literature regarding the effects of marijuana in acute and/or chronic TBI. I know that marijuana nor alcohol are recommended in the acute period after TBI because of impaired brain recovery...but is this just antidotal or backed by medical literature. There have been a handful of non-clinical studies that suggest that cannabis could help with brain recovery...so I'm just trying to find evidence of the contrary. Thanks.
