For those attending Marquette next year where is everyone planning on living?? I heard that 2040 building is almost across the street and about 1/3 grad students. Any other ideas??

I am married so I am trying to find something for a family.

Yeah, I see how it is. Dr. Smiles won't talk to me now that it looks like I won't be getting into Marquette. He's looking for a conveeeeenient friend.

Not so my friend. You better get in!

Ok....to set things straight! Knock Knock...oh wait...college called...they want their dorms back (2040 Lofts). So 2040 lofts are cool, but are just like the dorms...I am a 1st year dental student, and a lot of my classmates are in that place, but they are the people who went to undergrad at MU and havent gotten their undergrad degree yet...so they are still living in the "college life".

Places to look at:

The Sovereign- right across from the front door of the school...kinda old, but a lot of character in the building.

The Clyborne- newest building in the area...mostly dental students...but $$$

Check out Wiegend Enterprises and Schurlhof Properties...both have several buildings around the dental school.

Most of the people with a family in our class live out in Wauwatosa (10 min drive to classes).

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I guess we still are in college so why grow up too soon. Maybe for a year it wont be so bad. Other grad students(law Students) said it is quiet and nice. Obviously location, location, location. I am still thinking 2040 but will check out the others. If I was married then it would be a different story. Anyone else want to chime in?

yeah I have not clue what to do for housing. I am married, so thats makes it a little more difficult. AND I am moving from ID.
