I just interviewed with Brian Trecek today (visited school) and he said that Marquette will be sending invitations to out-of-staters in about two weeks via email. Anyway, good luck!

No, at least they haven't yet if they are planning on it.

I also got an email a day or two ago for an interview =) I haven't called yet (will call tomorrow), but I think I'm gonna schedule it for Oct. 18th around 10ish...hopefully the timeslot is still available...dont take my time please =P

I'm just going to pick the day that gives me the cheapest airfare so I really don't have a choice. Good luck at your interview. I see that the facility are new so they should have a great sim-lab. Brian Trecek told me in my interview with him here at BYU that students start in the clinic year 1.

Yeah, they sent me early application evaluation in a packet but beyond that, nothing. No AADSAS update or anything, just the invite.

I'm pretty interested in knowing what the area and location is like. It seems that I've seen the main building before and it looked clean. Is the surrounding community safe? I just hope that it's a lot less ghetto then Temple. Brian Trecek told me that one of there goals was to try and train dentists to practice in urban/rural communities so it would only make sense that the feeling at the school should parrallel the hospitable small-town nature right? Let me know what it's like there. I pretty much know about all the other intricacies of Marquette that make it peculiar.
