I got acceptances to both and can't decide which to attend.

I'm actually a MN resident but it doesn't seem like Marquette would cost that much more to attend (~$40,000 more total, I think??). I think I just want to become a general dentist, and from what I hear, Marquette has a better clinical experience and you might be more prepared to go straight into practice after graduation as compared to MN? Anyone else hear the same thing?

Any thoughts would be great!

I would honestly choose Marquette over Minnesota. I liked the clinical aspect of Marquette much more than Minnesota. I didn't really like Minnesota that much. It's just what you prefer really. Most dentists I know would say to choose the cheaper school though. Good luck!

Looks like you and I are in the same boat. It all depends on what you like in a school. I'm leaning towards Marquette simply because of the new facilities. Good luck and maybe I'll see ya next fall!

Truth be told I would choose Marquette over Minnesota. Superior program and I think Minnesota's tuition is gonna increase more than Marquette's in the next 4 years from past trends

Sorry to say this but Minnesota is my back up's back up...I'd rather go to a private school with better facilities for roughly the same tuition U MN charges for OOS...

Don't mean to insult anyone...just IMO

Do you guys think the cost factor is a non-issue in this case?
I know that SDN makes a huge point to stress going to the cheapest school available for you.
