  1. Dental Student
I'm from Illinois and was accepted to both this cycle. Marquette has newer facilities and is only an hour and a half drive away. In terms of clinical education, which is superior? Marquette prides itself on early clinical exposure while temple has a bigger/underserved patient pool for 3rd and 4th year students to work on. What is more important for someone planning to practice in the midwest, most likely Chicago. Price is not a factor here. Also how does UIC compare to these schools? Pros and cons would be great

Marquette hands down.

1) Faculty. On my interview I thought they were solid and came off as genuine.
2) Location. It is closer to your home in case of wanting to get away or an emergency. Plus, Milwaukee has pro-sports teams (aka not the 76ers).
3) Price. Cost of living is much more reasonable due to areas where you live and safer too.
4) Clinical. Lot of opportunities around the state and I liked the mentor-mentee system between dental students.
5) Facilities. Pretty nice building with everything being new and in the heart of the campus.

Cons:
1) Snow. If you are the Midwest like me then it shouldn't be a problem.

I didn't interview at Temple, but if I was not staying in-state for dental school I would go to Marquette any day of the week.

Agree with everything Tarheel616 mentioned

If you didn't interview at both schools you aren't qualified to state which one is "superior".

Hands down Marquette. Absolutely loved the school and had price not been an option I would have had a tough choice deciding.
