How will they let us know? Will aadsas update at midnight, email at midnight, wait till morning and call, or wait for our envelope?

This is killing me, I love Marquette!

i think there will be an email definitely, and a mailing as well. they've used email in the past, i don't expect them to change.

I talked to Jennifer at marquette a few weeks ago and she said that we can call on Friday and they will let us know. The letters were either sent today or tomorrow and we will probably get them on Saturday or early next week. Im just repeating exactly what she told me. Best of luck!!!

For awhile now on AADSAS my Marquette info said something like "All applicants who have been invited for interview before Dec 1 have already received their invitations, we will decide later if we will grant more interviews etc etc". Then I just checked it today and it had gone back to the previous message that said "Your application has been reviewed but a decision has not been made yet..." Is this a preview for a rejection? waitlist? acceptance? Are they accepting without interviews this year (and I just didn't get the memo on this)? Anyone else have this on their AADSAS?

Mine still says "Invited for Interview." it hasn't changed since October. I wouldn't take anyting it says too seriously yet. AADSAS is way inconsistent.

agreed with earlier post, talked to jennifer at beginning of week. you can start calling at 8 tomorrow all day and expect a letter come monday b/c sending them out tomorrrow. good luck ya'll

This happened to me also. I don't quite know what to make of it. I guess as long as it doesn't say "rejected", then we're still in the running.

I have that same stupid message next to Marquette in my AADSAS application status list.

What they are saying is that all interview slots prior to Dec 1st has already been given out.

So don't expect any interview invites from them for this year.

However, we may get interview invites next year, depending on the # of "accepted" applicants who choose not to attend marquette.

We will be getting letters in the mail updating us of our status for marquette. Most likely a "waitlist"-like letter stating that we're still in the applicant pool.

I asked the secretary some questions and she said:

She thinks all of the offers were given out

No more interviews will probably be given

But does anyone know how many people they typically accept come january 15? Are we talking 1,2 or like 5 or 10?

They sent out 95 acceptances for 80 spots. Jan 15th will fill whatever holes are left.

yea i'm a reapplicant, and the interviewers were like, we'll vouch for you at the committee, you did a great job, glad to have you reapply. They said i was "right there" last year when i got waitlisted....i can't believe i didn't get in, i'm so sad

i was told that i was still in the applicant pool, but last year they basically filled their class with the dec 1st acceptances and expected it again this year. then i was chosen to be on the waitlist in april i think and i think he meant i was close to being chosen when a few people backed out and went somewhere else....not sure...i ended up having the same interviewers this year, and they were great and told me i did awesome....🙁

This is my first time actually posting something on SDN, but I thought it would help some of the nervous people out there. I was told by Brian that on Dec. 1st they send out 70 acceptances. From those he anticipates 55-60 will accept. So keep up hope.

Well that would be really good news to hear unique tooth! Hopefully it is true, the secretary seemed to think it was close to the entire class size so I guess we will see.

Iheartteeth, that really stinks about how you got rejected...im sorry to hear that. Keep your head up and good things will happen!

Hey, believe what you want. But that is what Brian, the director of admissions, told me word for word in person during my interview. I hope the director of admissions knows more about the class numbers than the secretary.

Ok, well i just called marquette and the secretary told me that if you didnt get an acceptance notification than you were waitlisted. So if you interviewed and didnt get in today than you are waitlisted. Is this true? Has anyone got a flat out rejection from marquette that has interviewed? because if not then that is a pretty big waitlist

I was accepted today (!)

They interviewed ~300, accepted ~70 (from some reports). I doubt the waitlist is ~230, I'm sure some people must have been straight up rejected.
