The weird thing is that I don't even have Marquette on my AADSAS school decisions page... I called this week and they said they were "reviewing" my file, but I sent my application mid-June sooooo... Yeah. It'll probably be a rejection for me too 🙁

Pre-Dec. interviews are already filled for Marquette. They finished interviewing OOS students this week and began interviewing in-state on Friday I believe.

Yes this could happen. I was just saying that Pre-December interviews were done.

Not at Marquette, so I'm banking on LECOM for Dec1. I might get lucky with a post Dec interview somewhere else though. Who knows...

Yea pretty sure its just an early rejection. They really don't interview anyone else after this point.

They have not sent out acceptances yet. Except to the scholars, who already knew they were accepted.

I had the same status update. Yesterday 11/7/11 I relieved a rejectionletter via snail mail. I'm an out-of-state applicant.

My AADSAS status says this: Please check back on December 1 for more information regarding your decision status with this school.



But I just got a letter in the mail yesterday saying no interview, so I guess I just suck. lol

Scholars are those with 4.0 BCP homie.

scholars is some program that you apply to at marquette as an undergrad...its like a 3+4 program or something. so those people have been "in" for a couple years essentially

Marquette has a pre dental scholars program that accepts 20 (10 in, 10 out of state) students right out of high school for a 3+4 year program. these students have to maintain a 3.5 gpa in undergrad and they r automatically in. so 20 of the 80 spots that marquette has are filled from this program

It starts out at 20, but if they don't maintain the GPA and get a certain DAT score they lose their spot. So it ends of being ~12-15 reserved spots.
