I'm mad that she was allowed to compete. I'm furious that her coaches immediately started yelling at and berating her right now. She shouldn't have been allowed to skate because of the doping situation but how anyone could see her reaction plus those of Anna Shcherbakova and Sasha Trusova and say it should've happened this way... A travesty. I am Hela pissed.
i dont know if we can assume that necessarily- i dont see why she wouldn't have slipped a packmate into one of her more confident village reads- but i just dont see her listing her packmate as literally one of her two wolfiest reads

I'm sympathetic because I was yeeting fluff yesterday until I had to self prez, argued with her for what felt like hours, ended up on mels yeet, and yeeted fluff again today and suddenly am being called wolfy

If I recall what she told me in the dead chat of BoWWling correctly, it's that she will if it's an extreme situation but it's a suboptimal tactic usually.
I’ve never gotten over Yuna Kim being robbed in 2014 by the Russians rigging the judging.
So this is just sort of more fuel to the fire of my burning rage.

She doesn’t do it. Pretty much ever. Unless they’re going down no matter what and she can’t not hop on without sacrificing the wolf pack from winning all together.

I think she busses when necessary to preserve the wolf pack overall. I guess it could be considered wolfy that she didn't want to yeet fluff but I honestly just don't see her as a wolf this time.

I have to be honest though, @justafluff when I saw the red I was more relieved than anything because I was going to feel so guilty if you weren't wolfing.
dubz, genny, kdswg and cubs are who im looking at now because i find it hard to believe that at least one of fluff's packmates didnt bus her. i was already wolf-reading cubs so that's why I've put my vote there already. i had dubz as a pretty solid village read and i felt okay about kdswg and genny, but im gonna take tomorrow to reread and reevaluate these players in the context of the fluff flip
Welcome to Russian Figure Skating. It's been all messed up for a long time, seems like it's only really hit mainstream media now. I watched a doc awhile ago on Eteri, and oh boy, it's not great. Her methods would probably be considered as child abuse in the US. But as long they have a revolving door of golden kids coming in as preteens and then breaking themselves by their teens and having to retire before they're 18, it's just going to keep on going :/ Ever wonder what happened to Yulia Lipnitskaya and Alina Zagitova and Evgenia Medvedeva? Retired. Plus the probably lifelong injuries to go along with it all.
(I have a younger brother who figure skates competitively (sometimes) and a Russian mom, in case you're curious why I know anything about this lol.)

Wouldn't it be pretty suboptimal for a wolf to stop the Night? This is me genuinely asking, it may be some strategy thing that I'm not thinking of. Like I guess maybe on the very first night they're worried about lots of people using their PRs?
yeah i appreciate the responses to my question about dubz bussing but i do want to clarify that shes not even close to who i think its the wolfiest out of the 4 people who didnt hop on fluff's vote. I've had a pretty solid village read on her
this was already discussed earlier.
I agree with two of these (genny and cubs). kdswg's voice just feels much more village to me, and dubz I don't see as a wolf.
Vets: thoughts on number of wolves? Still probably 4 in the pack, or maybe 3 in the pack since Mel was lone wolfin'?

Call me a cranky, but something I've also been annoyed by recently (like, mostly within this last noob crop) is clearing people based on bus history. Because all it takes is a "non-busser" to do something only mildly outside of their perceived bus meta to completely throw a game. Lock-clearing someone solely because they were anywhere on a wolf vote is setting future games up for catastrophe.
