MARYLAND- any updates?

I interviewed in the middle of February and have not heard anything yet. I am pretty sure we are gonna have to wait until after April 1st (the day another deposit is due).

The class is filled. Everything is waitlist from here on out :-/
I second that. I just got an email yesterday and I'm waitlisted...
Me 2. Anybody know if the wait list is ranked, how many people are on it, and how many people usually get pulled from it every year?
Maryland puts a TON of people on the wait list, its their way of a polite rejection. And they don't sent out rejection letters for the wait listed people until end of August.
*Edit* - I just stalked MD's class of 2014 facebook group, and three people got off the wait list. One at the end of march, one at the end of april and one in the middle of june. They were all notified by phone calls.

so for everyone up here ^^ that got waitlisted and got emails..... I haven't gotten an email, phone call, and apparently they don't send out formal rejection letters according to others, SO what in the world does that mean for me? I had an interview back in early NOVEMBER and i am STILL under review, wth.....

For people who interviewed in Feb, is there anyone who did not get the waitlist email? From what I am reading in the forum, I am getting the feeling that they put most people (if not all) who interviewed in Feb on waitlist. Also, does anybody know from previous cycles how many students are put on the waitlist roughly? 10, 20, 30, or more

I got off the waitlist in June a few years back. You can cry about it on SDN or keep your head up and do something about it.

did anyone else hear back from Maryland? I had not been placed on the waitlist and was considered under review for about 7 months since my interview, post-interview and just found out i was rejected.
