Has anyone who made the waitlist at Maryland last year received an interview invitation this year?

were you really wait-listed, or just in limbo till you got a rejection last summer?

no i was put on the waitlist in march and got the official rejection in august, which is why i'm concerned i haven't heard anything yet. anyone else?

i interviewed last year (instate) never heard anything until an email mid summer. i reapplied, recieved another email in october asking me to describe what i've done to make myself a better candidate this year. got another email yesterday saying my app was under review. did you get any of these emails?

yeah i got all of those. it's seems like this re-applicant update has delayed the review of our applications. I submitted in june but was then put back to "waiting additional information" because of this update request.

waiting game. i guess an invite is depending on what they think of our updated app. crap shoot. im sure if we do get an invite it will be post 12/1

Mine says received under review too. I am wondering how many re-applicants there are who are in the same situation waiting for interview invite. Any ideas?
