nope. i called about two weeks ago and they said all they could tell me was if my check was in and my DAT scores.
They never did say anything about when they'd be getting back to us about our apps. Isn't there a supplemental that we need to do as well?

I'm at Maryland right now, and I checked in the admissions office a week ago or so to ask if they had started inviting for interviews. They told me they had just barely begun to look at applications, and would probably start sending out interview invites at the end of September. They're running a little behind this year.

Quite a few fellow forumers now have gotten interviews from maryland - I just found out that on AADSAS, Maryland have placed me under review as of 10/13. Does anyone know how long they'd review for before they reject me or send me an invitation for interview?

I have NO IDEA what is going on with my application at Maryland. I called at least a month ago and they told me it was under review (they received it Aug 8th). They then said that I should hear in about two weeks....two weeks later I called and it was still under review...so I waited another week and called again....this time the woman with whom I spoke said that no one should have ever said anything about two weeks, and that they have no idea how long it will take.
I keep seeing people add their interviews on the "interview 2006 thread" for MD, and it freaks me out! I am wondering if it actually says something in the computer but that they can't tell me? Maybe this just means I am not first on their interview choice? I really have no idea. I would greatly appreciate any information that would settle my nervousness!

For me it didn't take a month or two weeks. I heard from Univ. of Maryland one day after they got my DAT scores. They probably didn't have all my letters of recommendation at the time (95% sure).

That's the same answer I got two weeks ago when I first called them. I asked her if they sent out interview invites in batches (like Temple) but she said that they are sent out daily, which freaks me out.
As far as I know, my application is complete. My AADSAS was sent out on Aug. 25 and I'm sure they should have my DAT scores and my LORs (since I had them sent directly to MD because I couldn't wait for AADSAS to take it's time to do it for me).
I'm just gonna keep my fingers cross for now. I'll call back sometime next week if I still haven't heard back from them.
I heard back from Maryland yesterday by email. I recieved a secondary app request. They tell you that as soon as you mail/fax the secondary, they will set up the interview date. You have one week to turn it in and it sounds like if you get the form, you've also scored the interview.
