What do u guys think about Maryland? does anyone know about Maryland graduates' speciality rate? Any input is greatly appreciated =D

Having spent time in DC, I ran into a few Maryland students who seemed satisfied. I never heard any real negatives about the school from them, but I can't say for sure. Try to visit and get a feel for the place and/or ask students what they "really think." Or you could just ask here on SDN.

Maryland's specialty application rate is comparable to any other dental schools. Since Maryland opened a new building, it will be exciting(?) times to be part of it. Well, if you don't mind frequent mechanical breakdowns of the chairs and lack of space... (what I heard). I went to Maryland and felt that although it wasn't excatly a cake walk, I left feeling very competent. Oh, am now doing ortho...

yeah " mechanical breakdowns" ; i had that worry when i was touring around the facilities, not that the chairs are not good, just worry the technical support team will be incompetent because everything is so new to them.
