Mask on during virtual interview

I'm reserving a room at my university to do my virtual interview. Would it be OK to have a mask on? We are forced to wear them even inside the rooms!

They are going around in their funny green suits and checking the rooms through the glass windows to make sure we are wearing them. I understand that Texas has the second highest cases, but give me a break man.

That's odd, but I'm sure you could take your mask off right at the start to introduce yourself and then say "we have been asked to wear masks in the rooms, so I hope it is okay that I wear my mask for the remainder of the interview".
