What are the types of questions that the MCAT is likely to ask about mass spec? Also, what are the best strategies to focus on such problems?

I think that if you understand simple concepts of what is taking place in a mass spec and understand simple rotational equations such as a=v2/r and f=mv2/r you should be ok.

well according to aamc link on bio topics, it seems you need to know something about "molecular ion peaks".
