Hey everyone,

When taking the achiever practice tests, I stunk it up on RC, getting 18, 18, and 17 on the first three tests. I don't feel like I suck at reading comprehension, so I decided to take a topscore test - and got a 29.

So right now, I don't really know where I am in regards to this section. Are topscore's RC tests extremely easy? Based on my achiever results, RC seems to be my weakest section.

never got above 15 in achiever, and finished with a 22 on the DAT. While it probably has something to do with a miracle (lol), honestly if i had to bet money, I'd bet money on you getting over 20.

If I remember correctly, Achiever RC tests are more conceptual. They ask questions like "What's the best topic for this passage?" whereas, TopScore RC test are more direct to the point. For example, they ask about the cause of a certain disease which is clearly mentioned somewhere in the text.
Obviously, you're good at pinpointing where in the text you can find the answer to such questions. However, you seem to be suffering with more conceptual questions which require some analyzing.
How you'd score on the actual DAT really depends on which kind of these two question types you'd get.
From my experience, most DAT passages are very straight forward.
But there are no guarantees.
