I have a question for the fine people of this site. I am currently in a biomedical sciences masters program. This is where it gets tricky. Maybe some people have been in a similar situation. I took the MCAT got a 24, I have a 3.7 GPA from undergrad. I didn't get accepted into med school, choose to do this program instead. However, I have been diagnosed, by a doctor, crazy I know, with depression and bipolar disorder. For the last several weeks my grades have been terrible, only adding to my anxiety. Then I haven't been sleeping. So right now in the program I have a 2.9. This program guarantees an interview as long as your grades after 2 quarters are above a 3.0. So here is my main question, at this point if I turn it around will I be able to get into med school. Maybe someone who got into the med school from masters program whose gpa wasn't that high. I know this is a lot, but anything would help.
