masters programs for dentistry in US

Hi..
I have just logged into this sdn forum..i am a dentist from India (B.D.S)
I have got my green card, given my TOEFL, got my GPA too...
I would like to know that masters programs listed in most of the dental schools state as "CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS" ..does this mean that i would be able to work after doing that or its just a certificate given?
i would appreciate any kind of help..
