I am a pre-dental student graduating in May. I took my DAT in March during my semester and didn't score as well as I had hoped. My scores were 17 AA / 15 TS / 20 PAT. For TS, the Gen Chem section really brought me down.

My question is, what do you think my chances are of getting into an MS program with these scores? I'm considering a few MS programs with a concentration in Oral Biology. I am definitely planning to retake the DAT in the summer, but I am debating if I should apply to the program with these scores or take the GRE before the applications begin.

In addition, does anyone have some helpful hints for raising my my TS scores? I used CrackDat, Destroyer and Chad's videos. But I know I didn't do enough practice because I took the DAT in the middle of my semester.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

take the GRE. don't rush the DAT just because you have 3 chances to take it.

The only thing I did for a month before the test was study 8 hours a day, that works. I studied 4 hours a day or so the month before that. Also take it in the summer. Taking the DAT during school is a waste of money, not only does it screw your DAT score, it also messes up your grades. Also pick up a bio book like cliffs AP bio, or Kaplan, then you will get another take on the chemistry sections as well, as CHAD does a great job, he doesn't teach you everything.
