Match Day Celebration Plans?

So, what is everybody doing on match day? Taking the day off, going in to your rotation, getting together with other neurology/neurosurgery/child neuro people?

I'm taking the day off of my rotation, calling my family with the results, then going out with friends for a night of sushi and EtOH (I know it sounds like a dangerous combination). I can hardly wait....

Well, match day is also my birthday 🙂 so I hope I'm happy enough to celebrate it!

10 days left....seems like a long time.

im on my medicine sub internship right now so i as well will be rounding with my team, cell phone off. although, i heard that we can also call our dean, they should receive the faxes around 10-11 AM? only 10 days to go!

If the match goes well, then there will much partying, drinking, and other activities (illegal in some states), and if it doesn't go so well, then perhaps the same. ;-)

I'm doing shift work in Emergency Medicine this month and took off the 27th and 28th... to recover 🙂 Hope you all have a blast!

So, anyone want to spill the beans on how they celebrated hahahaha. I for one, cancelled the remaining prelim interview I had left since I won't be needing it yayyy! I spent most of Wednesday praying and it paid off 🙂 It was fantastic to relax today and it's just so great to finally know!
