match list - how do you know what's good?

as an MS1, i know NOTHING about which hospitals are good for which programs, and how competitive each specialty is. does anyone know where i could find this kind of info?

Talk to clinical faculty at your school, especially the program directors. They know which residency programs are the most reputable.
