Match Rate for PRS post general surgery?

What % of General surgery residents applicants to PRS fellowships get a spot. Do most have research and papers? I heard something like 25%, which is insanely low? Does having a fellowship in facial plastics (for ENT) or hand surgery (for GS) really help your chances? Please respond.

Off the top of my head i think it is approx. 300 apps to 100 spots, but the applicants are a range of mostly g-surg, then others like ortho, ent, uro, and neurosurg people. Not sure if uro is still a pathway.

yes Uro is a pathway, although uncommon. ENT most common, after GS.
