Where can one find the results of the previous years San Francisco match/unfilled positions, sort of the tables and stats that are available for the NRMP. Thanks in advance.

go to sfmatch website. If you registered for the match, you could even get some statistics regarding step 1 average, %unmatched, etc.

So I can't get statistical info until I register for the match?

Yes and no. You can't obtain statistical info from SF Match unless you register for that specialty unless--someone is kind enough and has the spare time to type up these number for you. I think this year average step 1 for those who matched is 220, and not matched in low 200s.

My understanding is that only people who participated in the sf match have access to these numbers. In previous years, I think that generous users have posted numbers for the rest of us to see.

Alright, since I have some time right now, I will try to post the stats from the 2004 match:

registration 1079 (IMG registration 657), CAS participant 858
Matched total 512 (314 seniors, 18 US grads, 180 IMG), not matched 193
Average step 1 matched 220, unmatched 202
#Matched with PhD 58
% matched: US senior 96, US grads 72, IMG 51

Average application 21, interviews 6.2, offers 4.6

senior=4th year med student
grads=those who already graduated from med school
