Having looked at the match stats many times in the past when getting ready to apply, I agree that it would be great for us to post stats for those that follow us. Many thanks to Andrew Doan who has been so awesome at getting the ball rolling in the past and compiling the match stats. I would recommend that we use the same template (see below) as has been used in the past unless someone else has a better idea. Please just cut and paste the template into your own post.

For many of us, our USMLE scores, clinical grades, etc are quite personal and we hesitate to share them publicly. If you would like to send me your stats via PM I would be happy to compile them and anonymously post them on your behalf. Thanks everyone and congrats!

--Reputation of medical school and of ophtho dept: (top 10, top 25, etc)
--Research: (none, some ophtho with no publications, ophtho publications)
--Honors in clerkships: (especially surgery and medicine)

--Where matched:
--Anything that helped your app: (ie: a phone call from your advisor to another program, big-wig letter of recs, MD/PhD, other degree, SDN Forum, etc)

Hey friends, I just private messaged Dr. Doan to see if he would like to start an official 2013 Match Stats thread or if we should just do it here. Let's hold off on posting stats until we hear what he would prefer. Thanks!
