Your interest is well noted, as was your wisdom. Why did you do things out of order?
Do Residency first, IM, then Neuro, then pediatric neuro vs. Pediatrics residency --> Pediatric Neuro.

If you follow order, success will follow you. You are not too late. Stop listening to your friends, listen to the USMLE.org, and all official standings regarding advanced medical traingin (again, vs your friends).
