Matching Anesthesia

Hi All, gotta a quick question. I am a DO, with a super competitive Comlex score, and an average USMLE score. I am thinking about Anesthesia, but I am still trying to figure out what I wanna do in life.

My Question is, with regard to the DO residencies, is an audition rotation a requirement for matching at most locations, or will they consider you without one?

I would then ask the same question for the MD world.

Osteopathic world absolutely audition is required due to few programs and spots. Allo is more about app and scores and is ur net of apps is wide you will more than likely match.

Super competitive COMLEX = >680. Unfortunately, the USMLE trumps the COMLEX, regardless of score. Allo match largely a numbers game, AOA, don't bother.
