ms3 at a upper mid midwest MD program
Any advice on matching DR in CA?
currently: 10 pubs, 50+ presentations in non rads fields but almost all imaging related and some pretty complicated computational advanced imaging analysis, will have 1-3 rads presentations, 0-1 pubs by app day
taking step 2 end of next month (currently scoring around 245, hoping I can hit 260+)
P/F school
1 away scheduled for a top 5 program not in CA, hoping to get 1-2 aways in CA before match
LORS 1 peds, 1 neuro (interested in neurorads), 1 IM, 1 rads, planning to get one more rads
have some interesting ECs and volunteering experience but will dox me if I explain it
ivy league undergrad, grew up/HS in CA
full academic scholarship to med school
would love a research heavy program but would be content with community rads in coastal CA
ATP I feel like ive done what I can but is there anything I could do to improve my odds/app? Additionally, advice for preparing for aways would be appreciated.
other big thing is my fiance has a job lined up in CA and advice on how to relay that on apps would be appreciated
