Step I Material for Step 2?

thank you
Questions: NMS-a little nit-picky at times , but definitely drives home the key areas, also the question stems are not as long as the true exam, but the quality of information is key
Q-book/Qbank via Kaplan: where my saving grace, again I?ll swear by them, the stems were short, but the quality of the information was right on target.
--as for knowledge base review---
1)I used Kaplan notes, and Secrets, both were excellent resources for jogging your memory.
Overall I urge you to do as many questions as possible, and good luck
-peace 🙂

Hello, thanks for the response. What Kaplan notes are you talking about? Is it just one book, and do the notes come with the course?
thanks

How are these 2 books different? Should I use both or just one?
Also, is the 1st AID for Step 2 not very useful?
I appreciate your responses!
I used Goljan for step 1 but not for step 2. The word on the street is that Goljan for step 2 is not as good when compared to his step 1 (some say it's b/c he's a pathologist) but I personally could not confirm that. I used Kaplan notes and Secrets and thought they were excellent for the test. Good luck.
What about Boards and Wards and the MKSAP for Students?? (For Step 2 of course) 😎
I only used Q-bank and recieved an average score. I think if you used some of the above resources you could do very well. This test seemed hard to study for as there is a lot of clinical judgement rather than random facts. Although there are those lurking BS questions that made me want to sling my monitor in the floor and leave.
