I just did this one today! There is a typo there. Both denominators (one on top and one on bottom should be (a+1)

Edit: nm I messed up.

I got a+2/a if both numbers on bottom were a+1... If it was a+1 and a-1 then both the lcd would be both those numbers and there would be alot of crossing out and the answer would be way bigger

Gotta love those typos! I remember sitting there for a solid 30 minutes trying to figure out how he went from one step to another only to realize its a FREAKING TYPO!

hehe yeah me too and then when i looked at the solution i was a little disappointed. that lame typo wasted 15 minutes of my study time!
