I've been doing Math destroyer, and it's starting to make sense. However, when I do Kaplan tests, the question types are different for the most part (and for some reason seem harder).

For those of you that have taken the DAT, which math is more similar to the test?

Just took the test. I am terrible at math and pulled off a 16. I recommend just studying the math destroyer. Questions are very similar.

i would say the destroyer comes with a lot more dat style problems and more practice problems but you might want to do a basic review with a kaplan review book which you could buy for nott that much.......and then try to do all the problems in destroyer.....good luck

yess im in the same predicament! idk y but i do so bad on those kaplan questions, and with the math destroyer questions i am soo much better!! (even with regular destroyer QR questions too)

Thanks guys. I ask because I know someone that took the DAT once and she told me that Kaplan is very easy (Math) in comparison to the DAT. This scares me because I find Kaplan Math (the actual tests provided online if you buy the course) quite difficult.

Don't know what to do. Want to take the test during the 1st week of September before Fall madness begins :/.

I thought the Math Destroyer questions were better than the Kaplan questions in terms of preparation and variety of questions. Although, the MD tests get progressively harder and less representative.

Although I haven't used Math Destroyer, I did use DAT Destroyer's QR section, and I would believe that Math destroyer is of the same or better quality. That said, Kaplan math was way too easy. Of the two Kaplan tests I took I scored way over my actual (and with time to spare too). It wasn't representative, and Kaplan doesn't test you much on trig or statistics (permutations, combinations, etc).
