Let me start by saying that I have done 2 math destroyer tests and already attempted suicide 3 times. 🙁

My math background is pretty good and I've never really had any problems with math but this Math destroyer is really just kicking my butt. I'd rather spend all this energy concentrating on everything else.

I have about 2 weeks (Maybe even less if I don't reschedule) left till my test. A lot of people are saying that Math destroyer is an overkill even though it helps you learn. Do you guys think I'd be fine by just doing regular Destroyer math section? I also have chad's QR and DAT bootcamp.

Any advice is welcome. Thank you

The exam resembles more of the DAT destroyer math section than the math destroyer. Go through the math destroyer and use it to learn not gauge yourself. Its meant to be hard, but its brutally unrepresentative of the actual exam. Know your basics well

Honestly Math Destroyer is great...I am decent at math...not godly ...I got a 720 on Math SAT in high school. I finished Math Destroyer and learned from my mistakes, but the purpose is to help you solve harder problems that the DAT might give you. If you are good at math and want to guarantee yourself a 20+ it's a good tool to use. After using it I did a free practice Math DatqVault and got a 27, so I think it helps a ton.

Did you do all of the math destroyer tests before attempting qvault? How about the regular destroyer math section?

DAT Destroyer Math is beyond easy...and it's usually what you see on the real thing. I did 10 of the Math Destroyer tests because 11 and 12 are beyond overkill and a waste of time. I didn't bother with DAT Destroyer math after like 100 problems because it was just childish lol. You'll be fine, but get Math Destroyer, it will get your timing better and help you conquer harder problems.

So you think that it will be like DAT Destroyer Math? I sure hope so! You are going to kill it if you did that good on Qvault I would think

I would definitely recommend going through the math destroyer! In terms of difficulty, the actual test is in between the Destroyer's math section and the Math Destroyer. I took all the tests un-timed and then went through them a second time. Totally worth it...I scored a 26 today in QR.

Awesome Score for sure!!!!

I was originally planning on doing all of math destroyer. Now that I don't have much time left, I don't wanna waste my time on math and become rusty on science.

How long did it take you per test the first time you went over math destroyer? (By taking your time and understanding each problem)

A 26?! Wow you're so cool...lol

How long did it take you to complete each test (by understanding each problem) the first time you went over math destroyer?

I think you should take tests 1-4 somewhat seriously, then after that they get a bit ridiculous. If I remember right, I got progressively worse from 32 right on test 1 to 20 right on test 7 or 8. I then stopped. I didn't study QR in any other way than my pre-calc class and got a 22 on QR. It seemed as if Math destroyer was too hard but prepared me well.

It took me a full two hours to go through some of the tests and around an hour for most of them.

When I did test 1, I actually tried to solve each problem w/o looking at the answers first. And then I went over each problem, making sure that I understand them. It took me 5-6 hours to finish the whole test. I'm thinking about just reading the question and going straight to the answers, just so I can finish quickly.

Thanks, this is my goal! I'm def gonna try to master first 4-5 tests. I don't think I'll have time to go any further.

one trick that helps for a lot of problems is just plug and chug in the calculator... for example where they ask u to multiply numbers etc. and which is the smallest fraction and stuff. Probabilities can be learned easily using Chad's if u have it...helped a TON and made life easier with his permutation/combination tricks. Umm there are other things that are common in Math Destroyer such as the Avg velocity = [Total Distance]/ [Total Time] and the Empirical Rule. Once you go through the entire thing you'll understand most of the concepts. Trig is something that you need to be good at for this exam, so brush up on your identities and Unit Circle. Go over some algebra if you are having trouble.
