Hello,

I am having some trouble wrapping my mind around this problem.

A can of Popeye's potato soup has a diamter of 5cm and a height of 12cm. what is the area of the label that the soup can is wrapped around?

How would you solve for this?

nvm guys i figured it out. you have to use the circumference of the circle as the width of the area of the label!
