math destroyer sucks

honestly its so clear to see that dr. romano didnt write this crap book. i woulda lit it on fire, if i didnt know it was the best QR practice. anywho...can someone exaplain to me this problem:

find the product of (3x10^-4)(8x10^-6) expressed in scientific notation.

so im getting the answer 24x10^-10 which is choice A.

however the book says its choice C which is 2.4x10^-9

arent those both the same exact answers!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHH

For scientific notation the constant in front has to be bigger than 0 and less than 10

For example) 4382 should be written as 4.382 * 10^3 not 43.82 * 10^2 or 0.4382 * 10^4 although all 3 are same numbers after all

hope that helps Dr romano clearly taught you what scientific notation is 🙂

ok thank you for clearing that up! idk maybe he did but i really hate the math destroyer the explanations suck! the normal destroyer is worked out nicely, you can actually learn the reason behind the answer! thank you though!

He did that on purpose... he didn't wanna spoon feed you the step-by-step explanations... he wants the student to do some research on their own (like you just did, I bet you'll never forget what scientific notation is)

I don't understand how each MATH Destroyer exam is different... I have been getting solid 22's and 21's with the occasional 19, yet today I got like a 16 on Math Destroyer number 6. What gives?

I don't care what your religion is, but it's very rude and disrespectful to others on this board to make a posting that merely preaches your religion.

Your post has Zero value toward the topic of this post as it has absolutely nothing to do with DAT.

If you want to do your unwarranted preaching, then go stand on a street corner or go visit a religious forum.

Hi,

I have been reading the posts on this forum a lot lately. I am not a Muslim. But let me tell you I have seen a lot of Christian people posting stuff about loving God and going to Church in here. When they do it you see it as being normal and when others do it you feel like they are imposing their religion on you? I do agree with you that this is a DAT forum and sometimes people get a lot more religious than they should. But if you are going to stop the Muslims then stop everybody else. Honestly in my University, I see a guy near the library every day preaching the Bible, anti abortion, and anti gay movements. I think you only have a personal hatred towards the Muslims but let me tell you everybody tries to impose their religion in some way or the other. Please keep your eyes and ears open and you will see hints of religious preaching everywhere.

It's one thing to make a little snippet about how someone thanks God for his good performance on the DAT. It's another thing to push into people's faces on every post which is basically what he does with his screen name and avatar. There's a huge difference. It's becoming more apparent that his main motive for posting is a disguise to throw his Muslim religion in our face. Enough is enough.

And your example of a guy preaching outside the library is just that -- outside in public, not on a DAT subforum on a Dental forum.

I respect people and their religion. I don't respect it when they constantly throw it into people's faces in an inappropriate venue.

Sorry but someone had to speak up as it's getting out of control.
