Question:
If G represents the set of positive integers less than 8, and H represents the set of all integers less than 6, which of the following sets represents the set G (upside down U symbol) H?

Answer:
{1,2,3,4,5}

Why not {0,1,2,3,4,5} and what does that symbol mean?

U means union so it includes all numbers from all sets.
(upside down U) includes the numbers that both sets have in common. I think it stands for "intersection."
0 is not included because it's not positive and would not be in set G.
