I ended up postponing my exam to Monday so I could practice some math.

I've taken a few math destroyer exams and I typically get 10-11 problems wrong (with 45 minute time limit). Should I be concerned if I want to get at least a 19/20 on QR?

Also, should I memorize every single conversion factor? I know some of the basics like kg-> lb but haven't rly memorized the inches-> meter etc..

Do you guys have any tips for combinatorics/permutation and probability problems? I almost always get those wrong and I didn't find chad's math videos very helpful.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Math Destroyer is overkill in my opinion. You should try the Bootcamp QR. I think he has a free one. That's the level of difficulty you should expect. The QR section in Dat Destroyer is about the same level of difficulty as well.

I think you are ready. If you can get 30/40 on Math Destroyer, I think you are set for a 20 at least.

I just finished the DAT today and ended up getting a 20 on QR. I only did 7 of the Math Destroyer tests (timed) and I was getting ~12-16 wrong, so you should be good.

As for conversions, I would memorize what you can just to be safe. You never really know what they're going to throw at you. Unfortunately, I'm awful at permutation/combination problems so no advice there. Good luck!

From what I can tell, there actually isn't any current preparatory material that will accurately reflect the exam. But if you're getting 30/40 on Math Destroyer I think you can expect around a 20 on the actual exam.

good luck tomorrow buddy. you feeling ready? I just want to get mine over with on Monday. I feel ready. PAT(TFE and Hole punching) finally clicked for me yesterday, so I want to get this over with.

Thanks, you too! Yea, I'm really sick of studying and ready to just take it. I feel good, have scored well on practice exams (25AA for the 2009 ADA test, PLEASE CAN I GET THAT LUCKY TOMORROW) and I'm looking forward to taking a break!

congrats on that practice score. I wish you the best of luck on the actual exam. Would you say the 2009 exam is WAY harder than the 2007 exam or just a tad bit tougher?

I would not say way harder, but I think they will not be truly representative of the actual exam. Folks say the 2009 was more representative but (minus the tremendous amount of errors), but I think it's a fairly easy test. They seemed to have "themes" to questions so that if you knew one thing well you'd ace like 4 questions. The 2007 test is too easy, but still worth taking. All the questions are really straightforward on that test, which IS NOT how they are now. TBH the whole 2009 test experience was a pain in the ass...but I hope the real thing is like the '09. I'll be happy with anything over a 20.

Tytytytyty! I'm gonna hit some OChem reactions and go over math formulae again, then it's ice cream and sweet dreams. I picked a 1pm test time but now I wish I'd gone earlier, like...a week ago 😀

Good luck guys! Let us know how you do! Im actually a bit nervous as though i will be taking the test🙂 you will rock it!
