I figure it would be beneficial for us to start a list of math equations that are useful to know..
A^2 + B^2 = C^2 for right triangle lengths
SOHCAHTOA for sin-cos-tan problems
If you need to remember the unit circle use this... Just know that sin 0 is 0 and that's all you need aside from the fact that they are over 2, rest can be derived. That value is equal to 0/2. Thus, every step you go up you add root X over it. So
sin(0) = SqRoot (0) / 2 = 0
sin(30) = SqRoot (1) / 2 = 1/2
Sin(45) = SqRoot(2)/2 root2/2
Sin(60) = SqRoot(3)/2 = root 3/2
Sin(90) = SqRoot(4)/2 = 1
For cosine, go the exact way backwards. Cos(0) = Sin(90) and Cos(30) = Sin(60) etc.
y = mx+b for linear equations
Any else REALLY important ones?
