(Sin^4 X - cos^4 X)/Sin2X
Ok I factored the top and got [(Sin^2 X - Cos^2X)(Sin^2 X + cos^2 X)]/
sin2X
now I know Sin^2 X + cos^2 X = 1 so the top just becomes
(Sin^2 X - Cos^2 X)/sin2X
Now I am stuck! the answer is cot2X. Could someone explain this please.
