I just got my PCAT scores back and was very dissapointed. Here they are.

Verbal 82
Biology 94
Reading 50
Quantitative Ability 22
Chemistry 80
Composite 75

Overall it definately isn't that bad of a score, and i'm not that worried about the reading because I have never been that good at it. But I still don't understand how I got a 22 on the math section. I have always been average to good at math and felt that I was well enough prepared to take the test. I think the questions kinda confused me and I definately didn't manage my time efficiently. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice for any resources that I could study for the math section with. I have the kaplan PCAT test book, and have studied from several websites. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially ones about recomendations for another PCAT study book that's math related.

For me, the main focus in the math section was speed.

I skipped questions that looked like they required more than 45 seconds and came back to them later after I finished all the ones I could do quickly.

Mental math is also critical here. Learn how to approximate answers in your mind and manipulate numbers quickly. Since you approximate, it can be very fast.
