I would say that Crack Dat Math is very similar to the real thing. I was getting between 17-23 on crack and ended up with 18 on the real thing. I actually thought I did better than this on the real test, so I must have made some really dumb mistakes. Crack Dat Math is extremely useful for the timing aspect. I was used to racing through the section on my practice tests so that when it came to the DAT QR i finished with six minutes to spare. It seemed very odd. I did however immediately skip the problems which would take a long time to solve or the problems I didn't recognize how to solve. My advice is race through it and focus on the gimmies first. It seems everyone has a different opinion though. This is just my 2 cents.
