Well I have yet to take Calculus I . I admit i am terrified of this course. I am horrible at math.(but got an A in Physics I ) go figure) I am transferring to a university and have to have it to graduate. Plus i need so many hours from the university i will be at obviously.. Heres the thing, I think i could do fine in the course if i take it in the summer online through a different University. Since i will only have this course to worry about. Will this look bad? Even though the course will be through a well known but different university?

Calculus is something I think you need an actual prof for. Online would compound the difficulty. Calculus I isn't really bad and is 90% algebra.

It might also be a good idea to contact the schools you wish to apply to and see if they accept online class credits, especially if you are just trying to fulfill a math requirement.

Take a summer course through a community college. Some medical schools don't even require calculus, though.

I realize that some Med schools dont require it, but it is required for my Molecular Bio degree

Point being:

If the school you plan on going to doesn't require it, then it doesn't make a difference how/where you take it.

Calc wasn't too hard, but it is time consuming and not always straight forward for me. I'd recommend taking calc with a real person you could talk to if you have a problem.

calc 1 was quite easy, much easier than algebra 2. the trickiest part was substitution integration but after 10 or so problems u get the gist of it and it becomes a piece of cake.
