do i need to take calculus to take the MCAT? IF not then do i need calculus to get into med-school? HELP:scared:

you need to know algebra and basic trig (sin and cos of common angles) for the mcat... some schools do require you have taken Calc II.🙂

for the mcat, as the previous poster mentioned, you should be familiar with trigonometry, algebra and basic concepts like logarithms/log graphs, as well as with estimating/working with numbers quickly. as for calculus, there are a number of med schools which require it (ie., Harvard and some others), but many don't. Check the MSAR (medical school admissions requirement) handbook, where you can find out school specifics on this matter. You'll be fine!🙂
