Good evening SDN,
I just have quick question about the timing of taking a second math class. I graduated last spring with a music degree and all the pre-med course requirements finished except for the year of math. I took Calc I, but I haven't taken a second math class yet. I was planning to take Statistics this semester and I'm enrolled in the class, but I'm a bit concerned just because I have a busy schedule this year (around 30 hours a week in a working in a research lab, working as an MCAT tutor, teaching violin, staff singer in a choir, etc). So my question is this: would it be a problem for me to take statistics (or another math, just finishing the year) after I apply in the upcoming cycle or is it really better if it is done before applying?
Thanks in advance for any help!
