Hey all, I'm taking my DAT in less than two weeks (24th). So far I've done the QR in DAT destroyer and half of Math Destroyer (6 exams) untimed. Basically I have half of math destroyer and all of bootcamp exams to do. What would you suggest I prioritize with the time I have left? Should I do all the bootcamp exams and go back to destroyer if I have time? Or finish destroyer?

Also, I know people stress that the calculator sucks on the exam.. but how terrible is it really? I don't heavily heavily rely on it but I definitely use it a decent amount.

Also unrelated: is the 2009 official DAT test worth ordering/taking? I'm scared it's just gonna psych me out and I haven't ordered it yet.

Thank you for your time!

Finish destroyer for sure, it was my sole QR resource and I did pretty well (21). For the next couple of test time yourself.....I am pretty sure thats how Math Destroyer was designed, but Im not 100% sure @orgoman22 maybe you can answer that? As for the calculator, it does suck, but it is usable....I used it for plenty of questions during my test.

2009 is a must buy in my opinion.....I mean what better than an actual DAT to gauge on how your studies are going? I found it helpful for sure.

Good luck on your studies, I hope this helps!

I found Math Destroyer to be more representative of the actual QR section. I primarily used Math Destroyer and Khan Academy videos to teach myself everything in QR. Make sure you know the unit circle like the back of your hand and can quickly remember everything in the 4 quadrants. I went through one QR test a day leading up to the exam, and timed myself each time. After a week I would go back to test 1, then time myself again. My speed increased, and I eventually was able to answer all questions within the time allotted. Many of the questions you will see are very similar, so with enough exposure you should get the hang of it. The last math class I took was in 2001 and my DAT was in late 2013. If I can get a 22 for QR, anyone can. Best of luck!

Destroyer QR > Bootcamp QR in my opinion. Bootcamp and Destroyer both have their perks, but in QR I'd say Destroyer is the most representative.

As for the 2009 test, I found the sections to be off in difficulty. Some were harder and some were easier. I would not consider it a must buy. It still has errors too. I got a 21 on 2009 and a 25 on the real thing as an example that it is not always accurate in score prediction.

Also memorize the hexagon triangle diagram in this link. It makes trig a lot less time consuming.
