Hi guys,
I got a 750 on the math section of the SAT and I was wondering how much harder the math was on the PCAT?

Also, what books would you recommend to study with towards the verbal/reading comprehension/ organic chem sections of the PCAT

Lastly, do you think the Kaplan book is good enough for the Biology/General Chemistry sections. Because I heard that there are anatomy/microbiology questions on the PCAT but Biology in the Kaplan doesn't really cover those that well.

Thanks for all your help!
Good luck on the PCAT everyone!

They used to be very similar with an addition of basic stats. Now there is a lot of calculus on the PCAT.
Its not too bad just need to be fast...
I personally used text books to learn the material.... took me all summer though

there is no correlation, what is tested on the PCAT is not tested on the SAT or else no one would get in Harvard lol. I'm 100% there is no deriatives, integrals, complex rate problems, sequences, and permuatation/combination and college level algrebra on SAT.

As stated before, the PCAT covers the math beyond that tested on the SAT. The easy SAT math questions are easier than your easy PCAT math question, but that's all relative given that a student should know more by the time he takes the PCAT.

The PCAT math is more difficult IMO because the pace is a lot faster. The PCAT has 48 questions in a mere 40 minutes whereas the SAT math deals the student 54 in 70 minutes with splits between subsections.
