Hey everyone,
After some serious thinking I think dental school may be for me. I was looking at the DAT and it's sections and was wondering what everyone thought about the math section. I've done well on math sections in the past, like the ACT and SAT, 33 and 720 respectively. What is the math section like?

It's not that hard.. It's just the fact that you're on a time crunch. With the pressure and limited time, it's difficult.

The math isn't actually that difficult. It's knowing the trick in solving them quickly and efficiently since you're in such a huge time crunch, and some of the problems take longer if you can't pick out how to solve it immediately. Thankfully there are some really easy questions that save you some time!

Concept wise, I thought the ACT and SAT were harder, but completing the DAT math in time was much more difficult. To give you an idea, I made a 35 ACT and 760 SAT and only managed a 21 on the DAT 🙄

Just practice your timing and you should be good!
