Other than practice practice. Anybody have any tips or tricks for any math problems?




I always seem to waste 1-2 min on conversion problems. Anybody have any recommendation for conversion stuff?

ex: Any shortcuts that you can do here?

The baby crawl at 2 feet for 1 second. He has 2km to cover. (1m = 3.3 ft). When will he get there in minutes?

2km (2000m/1km) = (t) 2ft/s m/3.3ft 60s/min
calc...

It probably won't get this crazy on the DAT since you can't use a calculator. Look for ways to cross multiply and cancel numbers out.

Yea...do you also write out the units or you skip them to cut down the time?
