I will be matriculating this July, there's an activity I did not meet the projected hours initially listed on my AMCAS (I separated completed vs. projected hours). Call it my neurotic self, I've taken a breath, but should I update this school regarding not meeting the listed projected hours?

Thanks for your help!

I doubt anyone on the admissions committee cares to check. They've already got next cycle to worry about now.

Only contact them if that activity meets one of their requirements for matriculation, and you don’t otherwise meet it. Or if you got a scholarship for people who have done that activity specifically. The school didn’t accept you because you were going to volunteer 100 hours in the next year and reject someone else who only projected 75.

Or you'll go the rest of your medical career looking over your shoulder for not completing those 10 extra volunteer hours. They'll find you.. and they'll make an example out of you, and it won't be pretty.

I think Adcoms take projected hours with a grain of salt, and why they admit you based on what you have done, not by what you hope to do...
