Good Luck to all of you, esp those who have WL and no acceptances. Let's hope this is the year which will be described in premed history as the year of mudsliding waitlists. (Ok cheesy I know, but it's 1am and I just got one of those bursts of hope along with a vision of me receiving that acceptance phone call).
 
How does this May 15th deadline exactly work? Are you automatically dropped from schools if you have multiple acceptances?

I don't think so. I think they CAN boot you, but you're not automatically dropped until June 15. On June 15, if you hold multiple acceptances, they will ALL be rescinded.

:luck: everyone!!! Will be ecstatic if I hear from Northwestern CCLCM or Jefferson....somehow I don't think there will be much activity tom....but it should pick up later in the week and next week!!!!

Does it really move that fast? How soon should we expect some results from withdrawals?? I mean, they still need to go over our apps again most likely

Depends on the school. Some schools rank the waitlists, so they just go through in order without looking at apps again. Other schools meet in committee again and reconsider everyone's apps.
