May have accidentally taken a class twice...?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't think anyone will care. I did something similar (calc 1 in high school, credit didn't transfer) and it hasn't been mentioned.

Absolutely report the forgotten class, as you are aware. No one will freak out that you forgot to include a course you did well in. The concern is about people "forgetting" about their Ds and Fs, or entire semesters, that sort of thing.

No one will even notice that these are the "same" course. They aren't, really. Presumably, even though the same material was covered, the Data Analysis course was under the Psych department, and they focused on the way statistics are used in psych, while the intro course was likely more generalized.

No one is going to know they covered the same material except for you.

A math dept Intro to Stats class and a Psych dept class Data Analysis are not going to be presumed to be the same class, and it's highly unlikely anybody will have time to scruitinze your transcript that closely to notice that those two classes "could be similar" and could come to some conclusion that you are trying to pad your GPA.

Honestly I wouldn't think an intro to Stats class and Data Analysis class were the same anyways. It probably helps even more that one would (probably) be listed "MAxxx" and the other "PSxxx" on your transcript.

Can I have a beer too?
