You'll typically hear back within two weeks.

This process is brutal and the odds are pretty tough even with onsite - which worries me.

I took 1 semester of OChem Lab for 2.0 semester credit hours

I was rejected very swiftly, after 5 days, on October 10th. I really don't know what could have gone much differently in the interview, so I guess I'm just not a great fit for Mayo! I was sure they had missed my GPA when giving me the interview, anyway...

I would have posted sooner but I was too disappointed.

Fugazism, sorry man. Thursday was a rough day.

It was a pretty stress free day. Jane is very nice and will help put you at ease. Read over your research, there were some pretty specific questions about mine. Ummm, have a good time!!!! Your at MAYO!!!

my interview was on 9/29 and what's strange is that I also got an email from one of my interviewers that was VERY encouraging.....I was expecting to hear at least something by now..

No I don't know anything yet...I am completely in the dark and am awaiting any sort of notification (I haven't even gotten the "We completed review of your file" email yet), so you're way ahead of me...what was the name of the interviewer who emailed you, if you don't mind me asking?

my interviewer was a 4th year med student- im new with the whole sdn thing and i'd be willling to let you know the interviewer name in specific but i dont want the name to be on the thread just in case he sees it or something😛

early sept., can't remember when exactly...i'm hoping that the only thing that's keeping them from handing out their acceptances is that I haven't been reviewed yet, and that once they review me and decide to accept me, they'll email everyone with their acceptances 😉 .

I interviewed last week and was talking to the admissions people about the process. They said yes, some acceptances would be handed out on the 15th and that they would continue to hand out acceptances on the 15th of each month. They also said that only about 3 people would be granted acceptance on Oct15, and that everyoen else could only find out until as late as March 15th.

The guy I stayed with when I interviewed said he got in off the waitlist -- so there is hope if you don't find out immediately (or so I will tell myself till March 15th)

mayo received my $$ on 8/8, asked for letters of reference on 8/10, and sent phone interview request on 8/29 if that helps 🙂

I didn't goto class - just wandered around and stared in amazement at the marble, heard the lady play the piano, and just overall wowed. My two interviewers were fairly laid back and conversational - Dr. Greene & Khan. It was nice that they spent the time to carefully read over my app and asked good questions and not the typical vague ones. I hope I get in. Mayo 😍

Anyone else surprised by how difficult a phone interview was? I felt prepared going into it, but once it was happening I found it more difficult than normal to communicate my thoughts. Arg. I'm just trying to think positive thoughts until I hear back....
