Mayo Clinic GREP Program

Does anyone have any experience with the GREP program at the Mayo Clinic? I was offered a position in a lab for this program, but I wasn't sure how good this program is for preparing candidates for med school. I have research in undergrad, but I would rather do research for a job than continue with my CNA job during my gap year.
